Cheeky partnered with the hit anime and webtoon franchise Solo Leveling to release a limited-edition Collector’s Box. The drop featured four uniquely scented soap bars packaged in a premium box designed to appeal to both fans of the series and those who appreciate elevated self-care products. The collaboration merged fandom aesthetics with lifestyle functionality, delivering a product that stands out in the collectible-collab space.

The Goal:

The objective was to translate the world of Solo Leveling into a tangible, everyday-use product that still carried the energy and narrative of the series. Cheeky aimed to craft a collectible item that didn’t feel gimmicky but offered real value, design integrity, and an emotional connection to the IP. By combining signature scent profiles with thoughtful packaging and story-driven design, the goal was to reach enthusiasts of both anime culture and premium self-care.

The Challenge:

Creating a lifestyle product from an action fantasy narrative required careful adaptation. The design needed to reflect the themes of progression, power, and transformation from Solo Leveling while staying consistent with Cheeky’s brand voice and quality standards. This meant balancing visual references to the IP with a clean design aesthetic, and ensuring the product elements such as scents, artwork, and packaging worked cohesively. Licensing logistics, approval timelines, and aligning the launch with market readiness added further coordination requirements.

The Results:

The Collector’s Box launched containing four bespoke soap bars, each with a distinct scent profile linked to characters and story beats from the series: Aura with citrus and woods, Dancer combining fruits and vanilla, Knight featuring bright citrus with sturdy notes, and General offering floral sweetness with a dark finish. The combination of collectible appeal, premium formula with shea butter and jojoba oil, and the association with a high-profile anime resulted in a strong community response. The collaboration reinforced Cheeky’s position as a brand that bridges pop culture and lifestyle, and highlighted Etrnl Studio’s capability in turning licensed IP into authentic, commercially viable products.
