The Goal:
The goal of this project was to bring the story of Solo Leveling to life through high-end hardware that reflected the themes of growth, strength, and determination. Starforge wanted to create a product that appealed to both dedicated gamers and anime fans, delivering technical performance alongside strong creative identity. The collaboration needed to feel authentic to the source material while remaining true to Starforge’s premium design philosophy.
The Challenge:
Translating an action-driven fantasy story into functional gaming hardware required a balance between creative and technical execution. The visual direction had to incorporate recognizable elements such as the shadows, Jinwoo’s silhouette, and the tone of the series without overpowering the clean, modern look that defines Starforge products. Every component also needed to meet strict performance and quality standards, meaning that design flourishes could not interfere with system integrity. On top of that, the project involved close coordination between licensors, engineers, and creative teams to align production timelines and approvals across multiple product types, including the PC bundle, wall art, desk mat, and acrylic display.
The Results:
The collaboration successfully captured the intensity and progression of Solo Leveling while maintaining Starforge’s premium design language. The campaign’s theme of “leveling up your setup” connected the series’ narrative with the gaming lifestyle, creating a cohesive and immersive experience for fans. The launch generated strong engagement across the anime and PC communities, positioning Starforge Systems as a leading brand in the licensed tech space.
